Sortie d'Ardèche, aux portes de l'Auvergne : Le Puy en Velay, ville étape dans le pélerinage à St Jacques de Compostelle. Sa cathédrale du 12è siècle et la vierge noire, ses deux cheminées volcaniques (vue superbe au sommet) sur lesquelles ont été érigées la Vierge et la chapelle de Saint-Michel d'aiguilhe.

Une bonne après-midi pour visiter la ville. Seul regret : ne pas avoir eu suffisamment faim à midi (à cause de la crèpe ardèchoise prise au lac D'Issarlès). Nous n'avons donc pas pu dîner dans les petites ruelles raisonnablement animées et gôuter les fameuses lentilles du Puy.

Ticket groupé pour la Vierge, le cloître, Saint-Michel et le musée (pas vu).

A voir aussi, le tissage de dentelles, la liqueur de verveine 40°(Mmmmmmh! ramené une bouteille!)
